Flatmonkey Bmx:

    June 6 & 20, July  4 & 18, Aug. 1, 15, 29.     Shows at noon and 1:00 PM.

Chris Ridener demonstrate his talents on his BMX Flatland Bike.

Flatmonkey Bmx is an extreme sports outreach Flatland show that performs all over the U.S. at schools, churches, concerts, military bases, community events, youth organizations, and private events. His shows are generally 15-20 minutes in length. He performs to high energy music. It's a great way to stop in the park and catch your breath, literally, watching Chris' performances.

Storybook Island Theater presents:

Four new productions for the 2009 season.

The End of the Beginning: by Robert Menna     June 9-13, July 14-15, Aug. 7-8

    Avon, the snail, always reads about the adventures of others and finally decides to have an adventure on his own. He is a ccompanied on his journey by Edward the ant. Together they encounter different creatures, fight great battles, and commit great deeds. Admission fee, $1 per person

Paper Bag Princess: adapted from the book by Robert Munsch    June 16-20, July 16-17 Aug. 4-6 & 14-15

    Princess Elizabeth is slated to marry Prince Ronald when a dragon attacks the castle and kidnaps Ronald. Elizabeth finds the dragon, outsmarts him, and rescues Ronald Ronald-who is less than pleased by her un-princess-like appearance. Admission fee, $1 per person

Up the Creek: By Jason Reutar     June 23-27, July 18, 28-29  Aug. 11-13

    Paddy the Paddlefish is on a journey to find his home and reunite with his family and is helped by many fishy friends along the way. Admission fee, $1 per person

and one more, yet to be determined. 

Plays will be presented every Tuesday through Saturday mornings at 10, 11 and noon.      Admission fee, $1 per person

Theater Camps will be July 7-11 and July 21-25

    Camp fee $65.00 if registered by June 20,

$75 after June 20th.

Ted, the Caricature Artist will be in the park Starting the 7th of June: Come get your portrait done in the most magically place in all the land, Storybook Island!
